Custom Thermoelectric Cooling Modules

At TE Technology, thermoelectric modules can be customized for those businesses with specialized cooling needs that demand unique thermoelectric cooling properties typically not found in standard thermoelectric modules.

Variations of standard modules can easily be made. These variations include changing wire length, wire type, insulation type, or adding connectors. When these types of modifications are all that is required, the engineering fees are generally low (in the range of $200 to $500 USD) and minimum annual usage can also be relatively low (in the range of 100 or more units per year).

TE Technology also offers completely custom thermoelectric modules (ones that require new substrates, element geometries, etc.). Annual usages of several thousand devices per year are required, however. The minimum engineering fee costs are approximately $3000-$5000 with a 100 unit minimum purchase for the first order. Delivery time for the initial units is typically within the 14-week range.
